2024 Hampton Park Fishing Derby

Bring the kids to Skip Rock Lake for the Hampton Park Father’s Day Fishing Derby powered by the Hampton Park Men’s Club

All Hampton Park kids and grand kids are welcome!

• Check-in begins at 9:30 AM
• All fish will be released back into the lake.
• Nightcrawlers will be provided
• Other bait and lures are allowed but you have to provide your own
• All participants must bring their own fishing equipment.

Pre-register below or you can register on the day of the event

Prizes given for largest fish and most fish in 3 age groups.

• 3-8
• 9-12
• 13-18

To pre-register, click the “Going” button below. The Main Guest name and email should be the parent, then add the name and age of each fisher as instructed.

We request a $5.00 donation per child to participate in the event. All proceeds go to the HPMC charity, Beyond Boundaries.

Donate online using the barcodes below. We will also accept cash onsite at the Derby. For Venmo (preferred) put HPMC Fishing Derby in the comments

Check-in process

1. Register for the event online above or at the checking table the day of the event.
2. Show up the day of the event and check-in. Check-in starts at 9:30 AM.
3. Each participant will receive a label with participant number.
4. Put the label on the child’s shirt.
5. Grab some nightcrawlers
6. Find a spot to fish.

Event Process

• At 10am we will blow a horn and you will be able to start fishing
• Event marshals will be available around the lake to assist in counting and weighing fish
• When you catch a fish please tell a marshal, if the fish is large you must get the fish weighed or it will not count toward a prize.
